Don't ask me about the pain and difficulties that I put my parents through. I had thrown tantrums and insisted that I wanted each and every Snoopy - I've lost count, the last I remembered was 24 - from the selected countries no matter how or what.
I'd say a majority of kids, Huai Bin. A majority of them - including me. My parents had surrendered with my liking for Hello Kitty and Sailor Moon stickers that they bought me a sticker book just for it. It didn't help that my Japanese friend had given me Pikachu stickers.
My daughter had Hello Kitty! Had to PAY my students to go and queue and they get the meal as well - I get the Hello Kitty! The things I had to do for my girl...
Hey suituapui, I'm sure your daughter appreciates what you had to do to get the Hello Kitty. =) You know children; when they want something means they want it. =.="
My Mom was grumbling this morning that I didn't spare them any chance when I wanted the Snoopy. You should've seen the amount of burgers that my Dad had to buy just to get all 24...
I know Papa Carrie wasn't too pleased with me when I had him drive all the way to Menara Parkview to get the last Snoopy. But yeah, I guess that's part of the good old days. =/
I have a friend that collects it as well!
ReplyDelete24 from different countries eh? Nice collection! :)
Hey Huai Bin, that's cool! Another Snoopy fan. =D Well, it should be 24, but I've to count them again if I want to be sure.
DeleteThanks! =) I might even pass it down the generations as it contains sentimental value to me and horror to my parents....
Yeah, another collects Doraemon and Hello Kitty, and everyone (or so it seems) collected stamps as a kid.
DeleteHeh! I'm the same with my He-Man collection. I want to pass it down. :)

DeleteI would strongly encourage you to do that. =)

Snoopy! I had the same collection too. Godma actually queued up for me and ate McD which was not even listed on her list of "food". Miss her much...
ReplyDeleteThat's so good of your Godmother, Eve. =)
