The Catch-Up Meal

Living up to his promise, he brought me to the famous restaurant when our schedules had finally allowed us some space to spend some lovely, quality time together. There was a vacant parking bay not too far away from the shop but since it was approaching the lunch hour, I dumped my boyfriend with the car and headed inside to reserve a table for us.

Friends had arranged to meet us up a couple of weeks later before their flight departure to Chicago and while they complimented on how well we matched each other, the waiter finally delivered our drinks but had gotten my boyfriend’s order mixed up. I exchanged my hot sugar-free tea with his iced sugar-free goat’s milk even though I’m not a big fan of iced drinks.

  1. Nice, that's sweet of your boyfriend! :D

Why does the cake say "Misao san"? Is that your nick or the bakery's name?

    1. Oh my! Did you really think that I'm in a relationship, Huai Bin? =D

Well, Misao san's the name of a Japanese acquaintance of mine.

    1. I know, Eve, that's why I'm kinda baffled by the meaning of the dream. Truth be told, it's not the first time I had this dream.

Maybe it's another sign that there's a secret admirer in the distance and I'll be investing in a relationship soon? =)

  3. The dream is so sweet. Haha I have no idea too, anyway, but I once had a dream that my parents are marrying me off to someone (I recognized my baju pengantin and the customary place) and I ran away (but then returned back before the wedding takes place). That's the weirdest dream ever but I think it's weird because in the dream I have feelings for that bridegroom whose face is blurry it is just super weird. Weirder than the dream where me and my cousins camped outside and being bitten by vampires when I was eight.

But of course, it meant nothing anyway. -.-' I'm not a vampire yet as far as I'm concerned, too.

    1. Hey Jade, I know right. The odd part of the dream was that there was no chance for me to see the boyfriend's face and determine his identity. But we shall see what happens... =D

That is a really weird dream, but I read somewhere that when you dream of weddings, a death will happen instead. But yeah, if you read on the older dreams that I had, I had far scarier and weirder ones than this one. =/
