Post-Attack Lunch

Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp sesame oil (I used the one that Mama Carrie bought from Taiwan last Deepavali)
1 Tbsp tomato sauce (I used the brand called "Newman's Own")
1 cup of overnight spiral pasta
A pinch of pepper
A pinch of salt
A pinch of bread crumbs (I used the one bought from last year's Australia)

Directions:

Turn the gas to medium low.
Coat the pasta with the tomato sauce.
Dish out onto a serving plate.
Beat the eggs and mix with the bread crumbs.

Pour the batter in a preheated and oiled pan.
Cook the egg batter on medium low fire until there are no more bubbles.

Serve the pan-fried egg on top of the pasta

The final result. (I know the presentation is terrible, please forgive me on that)

  1. Post attack? I've missed something. Hope you're okay. This is my type of lunch. Simple and tasty.

    1. I was under the weather a couple of days ago, Yum List, hence the title of "post attack". I'm doing much better now, though. =)

Not to mention, it's not overloaded with the seasonings too. =)

  2. Didn't feel well? Best to stick to something soupy, piping hot, avoid fried stuff atm.

    1. Yeah, I wasn't feeling well early, Arthur. =/

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to indulge in hot soups while allowing my body to recover. =)

  3. looks like creamy comfort food! yay for that :) (btw, i've never used newman's own, but it's a brand associated to one of my favourite actors, paul newman, i believe) :D

    1. Hehe, Sean, but my definition of creamy comfort food would be salad dipped in loads of mayonnaise. =D

Um, the brand's actually the brainchild of Paul Newman the actor when he wanted to advocate organic food (or health food, I'm rather fuzzy on that)..... but I do remember growing up with the chocolate biscuits from Newman's Own Organics; it was really heavy on the wallet, I must admit. >_>

    1. Thanks, cquek. =)

Well, I usually prefer to whip up something quick for my meals; hate to spend too much time in the hot kitchen. =(

    1. Thanks, Shirley, it was something that floated in my mind when I drafted the post. ^^

Well, things are going okay; just hitting some rough bumps at the moment. Hope that everything's okay at your end too. =)
