    1. Hey Eunice,

When I first heard, it brought tears to my eyes. It's nostalgic listening to the lead singer's voice now.

    1. I believe so, suituapui. Since the 1980s, right?

Well, I think Beyond disbanded after Wong Kar Kui's death.. but I'm not 100% sure.

    1. Hey Henry, glad to know that too!

The older singers and bands have really given us good and meaningful songs to reminisce on.

  4. Yeah I thought one of them died too and the band was disbanded.

I love the song pang yao (friends) by them...or was it another artist?

Not the peng you yi shi yi shi zhou one, the other one that ends with "pang yao!"

    1. Hey Huai Bin,

Which is why I feel that it's such a pity that he died too soon, but as they say, accidental deaths are all unavoidable.

Do you mean the one that says "lei wai liu ngor, ngor wai liu lei..."? The singer's Alan Tam (known as Hao Jiang, headmaster). The one you quoted is by Wakin Chau. Am I right?

    2. Oh ya, that's the one!

You're good with songs, I must get you to sing Huang Huen someday.

I love hearing people sing that song. :D

    3. Papa Carrie loved that song, would constantly have that on "repeat".

Not really, it just so happens that the soothing, meaningful songs attract my ears.

Sure, I can give it a try - let me get familiar with the melody and the lyrics first. =) Huang Hun is indeed a meaningful song now that I'm listening to it. Thanks for the introduction, HB! =D

    1. No problem, Yum List!

I just might share some oldies of J-pop and Spanish songs the next time...
