Hello again, my friend!

Oh, great! The third consecutive dream. I can't say that I'm exasperated by it, but it temporarily wrecked my sleeping hours.

My friend - I'm not going to be specific; you do the guessing - and his girlfriend flew down to visit me.

Making up to a promise that I had made, I brought them to Sunway Pyramid to catch a meal. As we were walking around the complex, she mentioned that she wanted to stop by the store called Banana Republic. I replied that I'll have to check with either the information counter or the directory board as I wasn't sure.

There was indeed a Banana Republic store in the building and, while they were in the store, I decided that it was time to leave the lovebirds alone and found myself straying into a shop selling kitchenware - yes, the porcelain white plates caught my attention.

It was such a surprise that the shop was playing this song on its speakers.

  1. I love browsing at kitchenware and pretend to pick out the things I would get for my flat if I had the money to do so.

This sounds sad but I also enjoy going to places like John Lewis (not sure if they have them in Malaysia) with my boyfriend and play pretend that the bed, the granite-topped kitchen set are our own place. Haha.

What is that song by the way? I love the tune. The English parts are really good.

  2. Hi, Izra! *waves*

I don't think there are any John Lewis stores here. =( Which is such a pity, but there's Ikea. =)

It's a Chinese song by a Taiwanese singer-songwriter - William Wei - who won the Best New Artist award at the recent Taiwan's Grammy Awards.

I'm not sure what it means, but I think it's about life and how we are unable to turn back the time. It's just a wild guess....

  5. I wonder why you are having recurring dreams ;). It's interesting, I have stopped having my frequent dreams lately. No more car wrecks or ex girlfriend visits. Maybe I am experiencing a peace of mind? What I would give to be able to visit you right now my friend. Also, I think it's funny the friend's girlfriend asks to go to a banana republic. I'll tell you why later ;). If I was that friend I'd never let you be a third wheel and wonder off. :P

  6. Perhaps I think too much. >.< In fact, I had one dream last night, which, until now, I can't seem to figure it out. Yes, I agree with you; you're definitely in a state of peace. =D

Drop me a note when you're online; we'll talk more about it. *winks*
